Why we are walking.
Welcome to Operation: HERO TREK! You are about to join me on a journey that will cover over 2,000 miles – on foot – all in support of our nation’s veterans and active duty military.
One man, Mike Mobley, will be departing on this mission that will take them him Denver, Colorado to Camp Lejeune, North Carolina on March 24, 2012. In few short months this man will walk the distance with civilians, first responders, active duty military and veterans.
Why will he do it? To raise awareness of veteran and military issues and to help important charities like Adaptive Adventures, Fisher House Foundation, The Greatest Generations Foundation and Wounded Warrior Project.
